In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized statement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.
The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an unique katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
